| Appeared at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival John Leguizamo plays Manolo Bonilla, a Geraldo Rivera-like journalist for a Miami-based Latin American tabloid TV show, who arrives in Ecuador to cover the investigation of a serial-pedophile murderer. Never deterred by his boundless ambition or arrogance, Bonilla soon makes a morally dubious deal with a traveling Bible salesman (Damián Alcázar), being held for accidentally killing a child, in exchange for exclusive information about the killer. Sebastián Cordero wrote and directed this acclaimed and timely thriller about press responsibility. |
