10. No 7am Traffic

We enjoy living in LA. It's the best city in America for food. As a cultural melting pot, you can eat around the world in LA. Ludo and I are so glad to be a part of the food scene here. With that said, LA does have its' drawbacks.—like the morning commute. I don't miss sitting in traffic at 7am just to get to work. It's exhausting. I prefer commuting to the next room!

9. No 6pm Traffic

Although, who actually leaves and office at 6pm? If there's one thing that tops the frustration of a traffic-filled morning commute, it's the traffic-filled commute home after a long day of work. With LudoBites, I can get more work done and spend more time with my family, rather than wasting time alone in a car.

8. Jeans & T-Shirts, Baby!

Suits are great, but not everyday. With LudoBites, Ludo has abandoned the fine dining style and embraced the attitude of cooking for everyone. Along with that, we inhabit restaurants and wear clothes that match Ludo's new style. I don't mind! Jeans and t-shirts are a whole lot more comfortable!

7. Also, Pajamas!

No one knows if I am returning emails while in my pajamas or not. Speaking of comfortable, when I'm not at a restaurant I can wear just about anything I want. While I make calls and answer emails from home I don't really have to worry about appearances. Did I say I like comfortable clothes already?

6. Food!!

If you poll a group of people on what brings joy to their lives, a lot will say family; some will say their career; still others, food. With LudoBites, I get all three! Most wives might not appreciate a husband that brings his work home. When your husband is Ludo, though, it's welcomed. You really can't beat the "family meal!"

5. No Day is the Same

LudoBites is the definition of unpredictable. As a pop-up restaurant, we don't have a permanent address, our menu changes for every event and we're always partnering with new restaurants with staffs that are new to our system. Ludo and I have embraced a new business model that definitely strays from the monotony of an office job.

4. Social Media is Part of the Job

Ever fear that your supervisor will pass by while you're updating your status or tweeting while on the clock? Well at LudoBites, social media is a part of my job, not just a welcomed distraction from a spreadsheet or dense contract. We connect with our customers through Facebook and Twitter and rely on an online presence to fill the reservation book. If I'm ever caught on Facebook, I'm just doing my job!

3. Never a Dull Moment

Sitting in a chair, staring at a computer screen can be exhausting and mind-numbing. When Ludo and I put on a LudoBites, he handles the food and I take care of everything else. With a load like that, I never had a dull moment. While Ludo preps the menu, I coordinate the staff and reservations. When it comes time to open, there's no sitting around. I'm always on my feet. And with Ludo around? Well, let's just say he creates a very interesting workplace.

2. Not Confined by the Office/Cubicle Walls

Office and cubicle walls can be trapping and suffocating. When Ludo and I prepare for a LudoBites event, we're always on the move. We explore new restaurants to find interesting menu items and potential LudoBites partners. We visit farms to find the freshest, locally grown ingredients and we spend time out in the world to get inspiration for the next menu Ludo will create.

1. Never Have to Worry About Getting Fired

As the head of the business, I do have some job security! Some days the job gets tough and I might want to fire myself, but really, I wouldn't have it any other way. Ludo and I love the pop-up restaurant concept where we get to follow our passion and create unique and exciting cuisine for an adventurous clientele.
