Set in the self described Mayberry 2012, this suburban slice of Americana is about to have its panties bunched. Our heroine, Karen, is forced to work on Fourth of July when she receives a phone call from her long lost father that connects the lives of the film’s characters in an original way. Megan questions the sustainability of her relationship with her lesbian lover. And a young man named Ray fends off adolescent obstacles to pursue his love interest, as all around hilarity and existential reckoning ensues. Cute.
