Chris Willman is the music critic for The Wrap and formerly served in that role for Entertainment Weekly. He also contributes to TV Guide, New York, Parade, Yahoo! Music, Rolling Stone, CMT.com and many other publications. His longtime focus on all things country and Nashville resulted in the book Rednecks and Bluenecks: The Politics of Country Music, a look at how America's most popular genre has been a mirror of political and social attitudes in the nation at large and the South in particular.
