Esquivel Shoes makes music

I have a sick shoe fetish like any good gay and so when I was sent the above video for the California handmade shoe design house Esquivel, I immediately took notice. Directed by David Hubert and Olivier Staphylas, the film is less than two minutes long. However, it leaves an impression that stays much longer. Making music from the sounds -hammers, stitches, etc.- from Esquivel’s workshop, the video is unique and fun. After watching you’re left with a great appreciation of two very different art forms, both shoemaking and filmmaking.
