Fiona Banner’s “Summer 2009″

Fiona Banner’s “Summer 2009″ is the ultimate “set and forget” art, which I also happen to think is quite a brilliant and humorous concept. She explains:

This piece of paper was left out in the sunlight for the duration of the summer, with a stencil laid on it. At the end of the summer the stencil was removed, leaving a mark where the letters had been.
