The Chinese government loves when their citizens seek to fit into society, but Liu Bolin takes it a step further by literally fitting into his everyday surroundings. The government seems to have caught onto the irony and shut down his studio in 2005. That certainly hasn’t stopped Bolin, who continues his work in hopes of spreading the word about his government’s persecution of artists.
