Hollywood Forever, again

To kick off what has become a summertime tradition for many in LA is nothing less miraculous than Paul Newman’s sweaty, shirtless, and need I add absolutely perfect body in COOL HAND LUKE (Can you believe he was 42 at the time?) this Saturday at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. For those of you who live in LA and have never been to a cemetery screening, shame on you. Hollywood Forever is the only cemetery, as far as I know, where you can cozy up on the grass with a picnic and a bottle or two of wine, mere feet from the graves of some of Hollywood’s biggest stars like Cecil B. DeMille, Douglas Fairbanks, and Rudolph Valentino. The film starts at 8:30, but get there early as nearly everyone in the city will also be there.

Cinespia Screenings at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, 6000 Santa Monica Blvd. $10 per person
