Demand for organic cotton continues to grow with both large corporations and boutique fashion designers embracing the trend. Companies like H&M and Target have launched new lines of affordable, organic styles. Some eco-brands are taking the organic mission even further, like Threads for Thought, which uses only 100% US grown organic cotton for its graphic tees and donates a portion of total annual sales to environmental and human rights campaigns.

Keep an eye out for young designers working with the latest sustainable fabrics, including Casey Larkin who uses milk fiber in her eco-chic clothing line Mr. Larkin and Nina Valenti who incorporates fabrics derived from seaweed and wood pulp in her eco-collection Nature vs. Future.
