FILM SELECTIONS AND JURY MEMBERS ANNOUNCED FOR
62ND ANNUAL CANNES FILM FESTIVAL
For the first time in its 62-year history, the Cannes Film Festival will open with an animated film. Pixar’s UP – featuring the voice talents of Ed Asner and Christopher Plummer among others – will officially kick off this year’s 12-day festival. The 2009 jury will be headed by French actress Isabelle Huppert (only the 4th woman in the history of the festival to preside).
