Festival Update: New Frontiers

Senior festival programmer Shari Frilot speaks about how new and emerging technologies are immersing viewers in the film. Shari calls it physical cinema, but admits that that might not be the best moniker. One of the more interesting exhibits is We Feel Fine. It’s a web-crawler that searches across the net for the phrase “I Feel” and then posts those random phrases to an interactive website that’s as fun to use as it is provocative and surprising.
