I don't know...I liked 'THE AMERICAN ASTRONAUT'. Could be the strangest thing I've ever seen yet I found it to be ultra enjoyable. Excellent in my opinion.

Just saw Taking Chance..............I cannot imagine a more impressive film. Every scene was meaningful, nothing was wasted. It said more in 77 minutes with less dialogue than any film I have watched. The most perfect movie I have seen in over 50 years of watching films. I can only assume the respect shown for the dead soldier by all the individuals along the way kept the judges from being more enthusiastic. It is a shame they can't put their politics aside.

A great film that should enjoyed by all.

Sad to see "Taking Chance" was not rewarded by Sundance. They missed their mark on this one.

I would like to see the ability to submit potential film works as previews on-line, as this saves time, expense, the environment, and allows all access to post, and preview, all works.

Does anyone have a contact, email address, or other wise - person - who can accomplish this - and forward the information to us all.

Please respond.

Save the Environment!

I was very pleased with the selection of films this year. It felt like the festival was less commercial and more like the way it was intended with all focus on true independance. I would like to see the festival ending ceremonies being aired on Sundance like it used to be,that is very important.

Thank you Honda for making it possible for the "Cove" to be made. You bring attention to a situation which is so important to the health of the planet and the human heart.

We Live In Public is an amazing film based on todays issues pertaining to the internet. Keirda Bahruth and Ondi Timoner really get to the bottom of the rise and future of Josh Harris a long time pioneer of the internet! CONGRATULATIONS to the entire team of We Live In Public! NYC loves you all, see you in Tribecca!

cannot believe that the jury gave director and screenwriter to FIVE MINUTES OF HEAVEN but not movie! It was by far the best film of the festival.
and yes, how unprofessional that the sundance channel is not airing the awards ceremony!

There are many stellar winners on this list and overall this year the movies were a step above some of the years past but I am sorry to not see 'Taking Chance' as a festival winner. After many years of attending Sundance and watching many movies I have rarely seen a movie with the impact of 'Taking Chance.' This was a beautifully shot film of a touching subject with an outstanding performance by Bacon. The audience was moved and the gave several standing ovations. It was definitely a winner that deserved a bit of recognition. Maybe it is time to consider a new category for the movie that can create a positive social change. Either that or the jury needs to stop requiring edgy for their grand winners. I have no association with this film and only saw it today (Saturday) for the first time but I loved it. I loved the story it told. The directory said that the film will be shown on HBO on Feb 23. It is definitely worth watching.
