IT’S NOT EASY BEING GREEN: EPISODE 8
In the final episode of the show, the family takes a review of all their accomplishments thus far. The energy used in the home is being created on site by a waterwheel and a windmill. This is a good thing because the initial budget for the renovations is entirely gone. Dick Strawbridge has made an outhouse for the family to use. Charlotte has some reservations about the window in the outhouse, perhaps fearing that she will be watched while engaged in a private activity.

She is especially concerned about cleaning products used around the house, many of which contain hazardous chemicals that can build up in the bodies of children and create problems as they develop.
