Cops, Park City
January 25, 2007
One way to understand the festival is to try to see it through the eyes of the local police. Park Record, the local newspaper, provides just such an alternative view in their police blotter [www.parkrecord.com].
A few of the week’s highlights include:
“At 1:19 p.m., the police were told that people in a motor home used for marketing were driving on Main Street, playing loud music and throwing energy drink cans at people.”
“A police officer warned a driver in what is described as a stretch Hummer for showing movies out of a window.”
“At 9:35 p.m., an officer warned a woman for trying to ride a cow sculpture outside a store on the 400 block of Main Street.”
