One of rock's key cover albums was made by levon Helm and The Band in the early 1970's. Moondog Matinee revealed lots of influences, containing Allen Toussaint's "Holy Cow," as well as tunes by other New Orleans kings, Fats Domino and Clarence "Frogman" Henry.
