Dave Russell has over 25 years music television experience, and over 15 years live, multi-camera Directing experience. A Juno nominee for Best Music DVD - The Concert For Toronto, and three time Gemini nominee for the MuchMusic Video Awards 2003, 2004 and 2006, he has won Gemini awards for "Best Music, Variety Program or Series" for the 2004 and 2006 MuchMusic Video Awards.

Russell has worked with an extensive list of artists including U2, Madonna, Coldplay, Sting, David Bowie, Robbie Williams, Diana Krall, REM, The Killers, Arcade Fire, Alanis Morrisette, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Spice Girls, Foo Fighters, Destiny's Child, Britney Spears, The Smashing Pumpkins, John Mayer, Sarah MacLachlan, JustinTimberlake, Sam Roberts, The Backstreet Boys, Beastie Boys, Mary J Blige and Lenny Kravitz, among many others
