Bio

Boom Chicago is very excited to be working with Sundance Channel and creating original political comedy, something Boom has been doing since 1993. The brief, to make a three video series, was immediately exciting because when you have a two party election, the obvious question is, "What is that third video about?" We decided to make an attack ad about the voter.

Boom's talented staff of writers, led by artistic director Jon Rosenfeld, developed the three attack ad videos and created the scripts for them. The video team, led by directors Matt Chapman and Becky Nelson, directed and edited the videos.

Our goal is to create edgy, thoughtful, and laugh-out-loud political comedy. Boom Chicago takes pride in finding savvy takes and reaching for the thoughtful joke, (usually) playing to the top of our intelligence.
