CeramacistBIOSamantha Robinson established her Sydney-based ceramic studio ten years ago and has been busy making handmade porcelain pieces ever since. Samantha’s wares can be found used in restaurants throughout Sydney and her work has been exhibited throughout Australia. Her designs have also been featured in numerous prominent magazines, including Vogue, Belle, Home Beautiful, Harpers Bazaar, and InStyle. Samantha’s famous “Belly Bowls” came to be when she was pregnant with her daughter and wanted to show her pregnancy through her work. Samantha took casts of her stomach during the different stages of her pregnancy and later formed those casts into bowls, which she decorated with prints. |
