Services Director for ICLEI

BIO

Kim Lundgren is the U.S. Services Director for ICLEI- Local Governments for Sustainability USA. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing all membership services to ICLEI's growing network of more than 550 local government members. ICLEI works with its member local governments on various initiatives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and create more sustainable communities, including the development of greenhouse gas emission inventories, climate action planning, and implementation of emissions reduction measures.

Ms. Lundgren oversees all the regional offices throughout the country with the goal of sharing resources and driving state and regional action based on municipal best practices. Prior to joining ICLEI, Ms. Lundgren was the Director of the Energy and Environment Department for the City of Medford, MA where she developed and implemented the first municipal climate action plan in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In this role, she also oversaw all municipal stormwater management, wetlands protection, hazardous waste, and energy efficiency programs in the city.

Ms. Lundgren has more than ten years experience in the environmental field and has a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and an M.A. in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning from Tufts University.
