BIO

Sam Levy is a Director of Photography of feature films, TV commercials and music videos. He has been profiled in the magazines American Cinematographer and International Cinematographer. Levy most recently photographed Wendy and Lucy, directed by Kelly Reichardt (OLD JOY). One of AFI's top 10 films of 2008, Wendy and Lucy premiered at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival and is currently playing in theaters across the U.S.

In addition to contributing to GREEN PORNO, Levy has also worked as a cinematography fellow at the 2007 Sundance Institute Director's Lab, where he workshopped two feature films; HERE for director Braden King and HAITI CHERIE for director Patricia Benoit. Levy's other narrative feature film credits include THE BLUE HOUR for director Eric Nazarian and HEAD TRAUMA for director Lance Weiler.
