Midway through Fashion Week, my crew and I decided to have a evening filled to the brim with art.
My first stop was MoMA, where supermodel extraordinaire Linda Evangelista and Notify Jean’s Maurice Ohayon hosted a party to celebrate Ron Arad’s newest exhibit, “No Discipline.”

Rejecting sculpture norms, Ron’s pieces are otherworldly and mix all sorts of materials. Linda met Ron through Maurice and soon enough were working on a collaboration together. Mixing their specialties — fashion and sculpture — Linda and Ron created a purse that Linda flaunted on her arm last night. Part form and part style, the unisex and light-up purse was only a prototype but will eventually be on sale. Until then, you can check it out in Ron Arad’s exhibit, which has another prototype installed with a pair of red high heels stuck in the purse for a bit of flair.
