Doug Keeve shooting DIRTY DENIM for FULL FRONTAL FASHION
Starting February 8, FULL FRONTAL FASHION will celebrate New York Fashion Week with all-new fashion programming — both online and on Sundance Channel!
First up, we will premiere two new series right here online: CATWALK COUNTDOWN and DIRTY DENIM.
CATWALK COUNTDOWN will take you inside the studios of some of New York’s best fashion talent with exclusive photography and behind-the-scenes video you can only find here on FULL FRONTAL FASHION. We’ve been following a group of designers since November last year as they gear up for their shows and presentations next week. Ever wonder what it takes to turn an idea into a reality on the runway? If so, we’ve got your fix!
Dig in with us as CATWALK COUNTDOWN gets up close and personal with the following 10 designers: Chris Benz, Vena Cava, Erin Fetherston, Lyn Devon, Christian Cota, Cushnie et Ochs, Thread Social, Shipley & Halmos, Sachin & Babi for Ankasa and Robert Geller. We’re thrilled to have partnered with such an amazing line up of talent and hope you enjoy the journey as much as we did!
DIRTY DENIM will provide a glimpse into the cutthroat business of denim in the heart of the Los Angeles garment district. Shot by Douglas Keeve (UNZIPPED; HOTEL GRAMERCY PARK), DIRTY DENIM shadows denim-designing duo, Chip & Pepper, as they dye, rinse, tear and try to manufacture the perfect pair of jeans. Who doesn’t love a hot pair of jeans? Tune in here to learn more about how those suckers end up in your hands.
We will also be busy running around town during New York Fashion Week to get you exclusive daily news reports and photos from FULL FRONTAL FASHION contributors Patrick McMullan, Lynn Yaeger, and others.
On air, FULL FRONTAL FASHION will kick off a week of fashion-oriented programming (see entire list of films and series here) with the February 8 premiere of the first part of series SAVILE ROW (8pm) followed by the U.S. premiere of THE RED CARPET ISSUE (9pm). All week we’ll have other world-class fashion documentaries such as SIGNE CHANEL, SEAMLESS and JACK TAYLOR OF BEVERLY HILLS. But, more on that later.
We’ll also be updating the FULL FRONTAL FASHION site each day with new articles, photos and videos so be sure to check back for the latest.
