Who are you wearing?

I am wearing the traditional clothes from my village. I come from Karnataka state. [Note: One of the characteristic elements of Karnataka tribal dress is elaborate jewelry. Here, Anu wears a large gold nose ring with small bells and heavy silver earrings. Her head scarf is adorned with mirrors and bordered with small coins. Her colorful outfit is composed of patchwork cotton in bright, mismatched patterns.]

What were you thinking?

I come to this market every week to sell items from my village. I wear clothes with many colors so people will stop at my stand.

Where are you going?

After the market ends, I will go back to my village in Karnataka. It is a long journey. But I will come back next week.
