Dancing to Michael Jackson

Getting really sweaty is high on my list of favorite activities. I like to dance, especially when no one is around or when I’m in the company of strangers. With that said, I think I have discovered my sweaty safe haven in LA.

This summer I attended the Michael Jackson Birthday Tribute dance class taught by Ken Anderson of Xanadu Fitness. Oh yes I did. I wasn’t going to share this with you, but I was reinvigorated by the MJ spirit after seeing THIS IS IT over the weekend. The class is held at the Adderley School for the Performing Arts. Call it beginners luck, but I even won a raffle prize: a Michael Jackson MegaMix!!! If I only had a stereo in my car…

Will I ever be cast in a music video? Probably not. But this class was a lot of fun — two hours of MJ appreciation. However, like I said, I prefer to dance in the company of strangers. So if you show up to class, pretend you don’t know me.
