If someone were to design an outfit for you, inspired by you, what would it look like?

That question was answered in true, dramatic fashion, at the Sonia Rykiel 40th Anniversary runway show last February. Featured in THE DAY BEFORE series, Nathalie Rykiel surprised her mother with outfits made by over 25 designers, with Sonia being the ultimate inspiration. The result, a dress made out of thick red hair by Maison Martin Margiela, an exotic neon pink sheer gown from Christian Lacroix, and a sweater dress complete with knitting needles from Jean Paul Gaultier.
