Photographer and filmmaker Larry Clark (KIDS), once again examines the private lives of teens in this engaging tale about a group of poor skateboarders from South Central Los Angeles. For 14-year-old Jonathan (Jonathan Velasquez) and his friends, mastering the perfect slope takes them on a bizarre 24-hour odyssey, during which they make out with 90210 babes, crash Beverly Hills parties and encounter racist cops. Told in semi-documentary style with a non-professional cast, WASSUP ROCKERS was hailed by the New York Times as "completely alive."
