The Wilde Ones
As part of the celebration of the 40th anniversary of SVA’s BFA Advertising/Graphic Design Department, design greats George Lois, Paula Scher, Paul Sahre, Gail Anderson, Carin Goldberg and James Victore pay tribute to department founder/chair Richard Wilde. Director/writer Benita Raphan and post house Suspect CD Hoon Chong, both SVA alums, collaborated on the piece, which combines live action interviews and animated segments to create a portrait of Wilde’s contributions and the various other designers’ milestones in their own design education.
