Hong Kong filmmakers Danny and Oxide Pang return to the realms of the supernatural in a thematic sequel to their horror hit THE EYE (2002). Depressed after her married boyfriend ends their relationship, Joey (Shu Qi) checks into a hotel and overdoses on sleeping pills in a suicidal cry for help. Luckily, she survives. However, on recovery she makes two startling discoveries: she is pregnant, and she now is visited by ghostly visions of the undead, one of whom seems very interested in her forthcoming child.
