Photographing Fairies

Filmmaker Nick Willing and co-writer Chris Harrald present a challenging parable about the nature of faith and the quest for understanding reality. Charles Castle (Toby Stephens), a photographer who has embraced a rational skeptical outlook after witnessing the death of his wife and the horrors of World War I, finds he can’t explain the existence of photographs of fairies taken by the daughters of an arrogant reverend (Ben Kingsley). In his search for the truth, Castle must consider both inner states of being and the limitations of science.
