Pangea Day
The brainchild of award-winning filmmaker Jehane Noujaim (Control Room), Pangea Day was a global event showcasing short films submitted by amateur and professional filmmakers from 105 countries. The films address concerns ranging from war to climate change with the goal of strengthening tolerance and compassion worldwide. (Pangea was the hypothetical supercontinent that once united all of the earth’s landmass.) This one-hour documentary features selected films and highlights from live events held on six continents.
