Kathleen Turner stars in filmmaker Michael Lessec’s compelling story about a mother’s quest to connect with her gifted, yet non-verbal, daughter. After the death of her father, six-year-old Sally (Asha Menina) enters a silent, personal universe in which she stares at the moon, scales tall structures and builds an elaborate tower out of cards and photographs. A classic case of autism, suggests a child psychologist (Tommy Lee Jones). However, Sally’s mother (Turner) suspects her daughter may be using another, more spiritual manner of communication.
