Danish filmmaker Ole Christian Madsen’s gritty and uncompromisingly grim noir follows a pair of assassins in Copenhagen’s resistance movement during World War II. Cool, red-headed Flame (Thure Lindhardt) and older, morose Citron (Mads Mikkelsen) target collaborators and high-ranking Nazis in daring and deadly two-man operations.
