Actor John Krasinski (The Office) wrote and directed this “verbally dexterous and enthusiastically acted” (New York Times) adaptation of the title tale from David Foster Wallace’s 1999 story collection. Julianne Nicholson plays an anthropology doctoral candidate who listens to dozens of men unload their vain, deluded and revelatory sexual histories in her attempt to decode the male psyche – and understand why she was recently dumped. Bobby Cannavale, Timothy Hutton and Will Arnett are among those playing the hideous interviewees.
