August In The Empire State

When the 2004 Republican Convention came to New York City, the battle between red states and blue states spilled into the streets. Following two people from opposite sides of the political divide, both raised in adversity and both devoted to political change, filmmakers Gabriel Rhodes and Keefe J. Murren, with co-director Michael Galinsky, present a refreshing examination of the polarized nature of contemporary political discourse.
