Based on true events, the compelling drama explores the complex relationship between British serial killer Fred West and his “appropriate adult” Janet Leach, who was appointed by the court to sit in on his police interviews to safeguard his interests during questioning. Leach played a significant role in uncovering the gruesome crimes committed by Fred and his wife Rosemary, including the murder of more than a dozen women – even members of their own family – between 1967 and 1978.
