After the struggling designer sells her apartment to keep her line afloat, Leila turns to Joe Zee as a last cry for help. Joe is confident in her design ability, but her sloppy construction and poor presentation is cause for concern. He hopes a trip to Coney Island will be the inspiration Leila needs to create an entire new collection for her buyers meeting with NYC fashion hotspot, Intermix, but quickly learns that old habits die hard when she shows up with unfinished dresses.
