Beautiful Losers

Aaron Rose, Director
2008 | 90 min | Feature
During the early 1990s, Manhattan's Alleged Gallery introduced a generation of underground artists steeped in punk, skateboarding and graffiti countercultures. Their rebellious and hip work came to define the look of the era and influenced countless marketing gurus around the world. Many of the young artists of that moment - including Shepard Fairey, Thomas Campbell, Jo Jackson, Mike Mills and Harmony Korine - appear in this affectionate, celebratory documentary directed by Alleged Gallery founder, curator and filmmaker Aaron Rose.
