Photographer Julius Shulman's iconic images came to define the look of modernist Southern California residential architecture during the post-war boom. The homes designed by Richard Neutra, Rudolph M. Schindler, Pierre Koenig and others - famed for their clean lines, flat roofs, large glass windows and sliding doors - had their greatest proponent in Shulman, who died at age 98 in 2009. Documentarian Eric Bricker celebrates Shulman's life, work and the buildings he chronicled in this fascinating award-winning profile narrated by Dustin Hoffman.
