Documentarian Laura Longsworth paints a memorable profile of a forceful artistic visionary that is also a moving portrait of a divided family confronting adversity. Sculptor Tom Luckey is renowned for his abstract climbing structures for children. However, when an accident during the creation of his most ambitious commission leaves him completely paralyzed, Tom is forced to cede some control to his caretaker/wife and rely on the help of Spencer, Tom's strong-willed architect son from an earlier troubled marriage.
