This six-part Australian documentary series follows Lish Fejer and Sean Fitzgerald, a pair of scientists passionate about the environment, as they meet with six contemporary families to suggest simple changes in lifestyle that can markedly cut energy consumption.

In the fourth episode, the Carbon Cops visit the Bettenay/Fletchers, a three-generation family living in a massive rental home, who thought living together would allow them to save money to build their own new house, but have discovered their bills are astronomical.
