This six-part Australian documentary series follows Lish Fejer and Sean Fitzgerald, a pair of scientists passionate about the environment, as they meet with six contemporary families to suggest simple changes in lifestyle that can markedly cut energy consumption.

In the opening episode, the Carbon Cops visit the Barries, a family that has made a conscious effort to save energy. However, an energy audit reveals that their home and lifestyle create carbon emissions more than five times the national average.
