More troublesome cell phone calls from the future are terrorizing young Japanese women in this sequel to Takashi Miike's 2004 cult horror hit. At the helm this time is Renpei Tsukamoto who follows the story of Kyoko (Mimura), a teacher whose friends are rapidly expiring under grisly circumstances after they receive chilling calls from themselves foreshadowing their own demise. Attempting to track down the origin of the curse, a reporter (Asaka Seto) joins Kyoko and her boyfriend on a journey to a remote coal mining village in Taiwan.
