The Muse

Comedian, writer and filmmaker Albert Brooks plays Steven Phillips, a Hollywood screenwriter whose recent work is dismissed by young executives as having lost its edge. As panic, envy, ambition and writer's block descend on Steven, he learns of a real-life muse, Sarah (Sharon Stone), who grants creative gifts to writers and directors who stay on her good side. However, as he soon discovers, Sarah is demanding and her favors don't come cheap. Cowritten by Brooks's frequent collaborator Monica Johnson. Andie MacDowell and Jeff Bridges costar.
