Brenda Longfellow, Director
As part of THE GREEN, Sundance Channel presents a series of documentary films focusing on timely and pressing environmental issues of the day.
Documentary filmmaker Brenda Longfellow paints an alarming portrait of human lives altered by climate change. In an ecological cinematic road-trip, WEATHER REPORT visits northwest China, where the desert dust storms have buried hundreds of villages; gives voice to an irrigation worker in Montana, which is in the sixth year of a severe drought; and recounts a Mumbai monsoon that dumped 37 inches of rain in a single day. While many work for change, WEATHER REPORT reveals that unless it comes immediately, the current damage will be irreversible.
