More personal essay/fantasy than biography, LOOKING FOR LANGSTON mixes archive footage and Hughes's poetry with black-and-white dramatic scenes - luminous compositions that recall the work of George Platt Lynes and Robert Mapplethorpe - featuring Ben Ellison as Langston Hughes and Matthew Baidoo as his lover.
