Notorious for his prankish documentaries, Down Under media personality John Safran won the Australian Film Institute's "Best Comedy Series" award for this irreverent eight-part personal investigation into religions around the world.
In the first episode, John travels to England where he meets radical Muslim clerics - including the former imam of the Finsbury Park Mosque, Sheikh Abu Hamza - and attempts to have a fatwa placed on a rival Aussie TV variety show host. Later, John explores a Scientologist's past lives on other planets.
