Clare Kilner, Director
Described as the British AMÉLIE, Clare Kilner's whimsical debut feature tells the tale of a young, hyperimaginative Scottish woman (Eileen Walsh) who takes a job at a London auto manufacturer in the hope of paying for treatment for her agoraphobic mother. Yet before too long she also becomes involved in a romance with an office drudge (Rhys Ifans), has a nasty confrontation with an embittered boss (Patsy Kensit) and is implicated in corporate espionage. Winner of the Film Discovery Jury Award at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival.
