Kicking Up a Stink

Suburbia, class and reality TV are among the targets served up for satirical laughs in Australia's most successful comedy series. Kath (Jane Turner), a fortysomething empty nester, and her spoiled daughter Kim (Gina Riley) are followed by reality-TV cameras during their day-to-day lives in the Melbourne suburb of Fountain Lakes.

In this episode, Kath’s hubby Kel (Glenn Robbins) joins her on stage playing Leonard Woolf in a musical version of The Hours. “Kath & Kim” co-creator and star Gina Riley also appears as the predatory stage director.
