Meg Tilly and Christine Lahti costar in this road movie about two women escaping their past, who meet by chance at a bus stop in the middle of the night. Marianne (Tilly) is on the run from an abusive husband, while brassy cocktail waitress Darly (Lahti) wants to begin a new life on land she inherited in Alaska. On the way, the pair encounters a colorful assortment of eccentrics before discovering whether their destiny resides in the northern wilderness. Edward Zwick (GLORY; LEGENDS OF THE FALL) directs this touching tale of self-discovery.
