Karl Geary wrote and stars in a humorous and touching love story about a small-time Irish rogue (Geary) who returns home to Coney Island, a tiny hamlet in Sligo, to win the girl he left behind. Alas, few in Coney Island are overjoyed to see him, including his beloved Bridget (Laura Fraser), who is very pregnant and eager to marry her fiancé. Producer Amy Hobby (SECRETARY; THIRTEEN CONVERSATIONS ABOUT ONE THING) makes her directorial debut, while cinematographer Peter Deming (MULHOLLAND DRIVE) artfully captures the Irish locations.
